Getting to Blue Reef Beach
Blue Reef Beach is located at Mile 20.5 on the Placencia Road, just 9 minutes north of Placencia Village and 6 minutes from Placencia Municipal Airport (PLJ) by car.
Flying into Placencia (PLJ):
Tropic Air offers daily flights from Belize City (BZE) to Placencia. Flights can be reserved through our front desk, and tickets are paid for in person at the airport upon arrival. A complimentary shuttle will meet you at PLJ and bring you directly to the resort.
Driving from Belize City (BZE):
Blue Reef Beach is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes from Philip Goldson International Airport. Several car rental companies operate just outside the arrivals hall for your convenience.
Private and Shared Drivers:
Ground transportation services are available for transfers between the international airport and the resort. Once you're here, golf carts, scooters, and cars can be rented locally so you can explore the Placencia Peninsula without long drives.
